On the 1st May 2014, GSTS Pathology and KingsPath became Viapath. Viapath continues to build on the partnership between Guy's and St Thomas' and Kings' College Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts - we remain majority owned by the NHS, with the commercial freedom to invest in innovation, year on year.
I see an exciting future for pathology in a truly modernised market. A mixed economy where public-private providers deliver high-quality cost-effective pathology services in partnership.
